• HO-BO CARE BOXER RESCUE HOLIDAY WINE TASTING SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2011 3PM – 6 PM

  Join Ho-Bo Care onfor an adoption event at Woofs 'N Hoofs; 12482 W. Ken Caryl Ave., Littleton, CO. Lots of fun activities for dogs and their people. We also still need volunteers for this event!

  Hobo Care will have a booth at the 2011 Summerset Fest fun day for the dogs! Please come by and show your support!
  
  
  
• 2nd Annual Ho-Bo Care Boxer Dash Fundraiser - Saturday, August 27. This was a great event. Thank you so much everyone who donated items to the silent auction and to all our guests who came out to support us!

• Eat Wings, Raise Funds! When: Wednesday, April 6 from 4 to 10 PM
  Where: Buffalo Wild Wings, 8255 S. Chester St., Centennial CO 80112
  What: 10% of all pre-taxed food sales (less alcohol and promotional discounts) from any guest who presents the fundraiser ticket will be donated to Ho-Bo Care Boxer Rescue! Also, Heather from Silpada Jewelry is scheduled to attend this fundraiser event. She has again generously agreed to donate 20% of her gross sales to HoBo Care in lieu of hostess gifts. She will have lots of beautiful sterling silver jewelry on display at the restaurant!

• We are going to have one more yard sale to raise money for the HoBo's this year! It will be the weekend of September 11 and 12 from 8:30-3:00 at 7280 Canosa Ct, Westminster CO 80030,right off of 72nd and Federal and just 5 minutes up the street from Hermosa.
  
• Parker Farmer's Market Booth -- Mainstreet St, one block east of Parker Road in Parker, Colorado from 8 AM to 1 PM.
  
• September 19, 2010: Summerset Festival "Fun Day for the Dogs" Clement Park in Littleton. (Near the intersection of Wadsworth and Bowles.) This festival draws huge crowds and has music, demonstrations by dog agility groups, food, a craft fair and all sorts of activities for the kids. Ho-Bo Care will set up at 9:00 and stay until 4:00 pm. We will have literature, photos of our available dogs and we will be selling bags of coffee beans (more on this later) to raise much needed funds.

* As always, thank you to our wonderful volunteers for all their help in fundraising at our Saturday, June 25, 2010 Yard Sale.

The turnout was great, the weather was perfect and everyone had a nice time!

 

* Third Annual Holiday Gifts For Pets & Their People was held at Tagawa Gardens, Aurora CO on November 7 & 8, 10 am to 3 pm. Ho-Bo Care manned the bake sale booth again this year! We are also the rescue beneficiary of Rose Warner/Fetching Fashions this year. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us!

* Sunday, September 6, 2009 Fundraiser Picnic Held at Westlands Park, 5701 South Quebec Street, Greenwood Village, CO 80121 Free caricature art was graciously provided by artist Mark Hall. Well known animal communicator, Pam Baca shared her gift for animal communication!

* Fundraising Picnic for Ho-Bo Care, Saturday, May 26 2007 The Fundraising Picnic was a huge success. Many of the silent auction items were in hot demand and over $1,000 was raised for Ho-Bo Care. It was wonderful to see so many happy adopted dogs attending with their forever families -- and there were a number of reunions between former foster family and former foster dog! Thank you to everyone to donated, attended, helped set up and clean up!

 

* Dusty Dogs in Louisville, Colorado invited HO-BO Care Boxer Rescue to participate in a charity dog wash fundraiser on Saturday, August 21st, 2005 from 10 AM to 4 PM. They donated one self serve dog wash stations, shampoo and towels AND the proceeds from any dog washed in that booth on that date. Thank you to everyone who gave up time to help make this event a success.

* Our photos with Santa event at the Petsmart at Abilene and Alameda on Dec 13th &14th 2004 was a HUGE success. We sold 115 photos, raising $575.00 for HO-BO Care. Thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their valuable weekend time to help out. It was a ton of fun and we hope to participate in this event next year!

* 2nd Annual PAWS for Charity Day. August 2nd 2003 at Animal ER (221 West County Line Rd at Broadway). We met a lot of people and educated many on boxers and rescue in general.

* HO-BO Care was invited to the Park Meadows PetCo on Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday May 4th 2004 to educate people about boxers and our rescue work! Thank you to Shelley Mesh for joing Jeni and Matilda Mellott out there on Saturday, and to Phillissa for bringing Tyson out to hang out with us for awhile.
